June Prayer Letter
Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
This past month God greatly blessed us here in Ecuador. Here are a few of the highlights from May.
We had two friends from the USA visit us the first week in May, Noah Wilkerson and Gabriel Thomas. They were a blessing, and we had the chance to show them around Quito. They both preached for us in the church and were a big blessing.
We held a soccer tournament while they were here, sponsored by the church. There were over 250 people that showed up, and we had a wonderful time. Benjamin Soncco, the intern here, took some time in the middle of the tournament to share the Gospel, and all had the chance to hear the Gospel at the tournament and get an invitation to church.
We had a special service at Iglesia Bautista Libertad to celebrate Mother’s Day, and we had over 30 mothers in the service that day.
Please pray for several couples’ marriages in the church. Many need to be strengthened and grow in that relationship.
Two men in our church have expressed a desire to serve God in the ministry, and we have been meeting weekly to study more with them, and they have been preaching 5-minute messages and serving in different areas in the church. Would you pray for them and that they would continue to grow?
We are currently waiting for the approval of the plans to begin construction on the new church building. We currently need fifty-five thousand dollars to complete the construction of a new building for Iglesia Bautista Libertad. Would you and your church prayerfully consider giving towards this need?
Thank you so much for your support and prayers! God Bless,
The Blooms
