Our one desire should be to know God. This verse gives us a vivid picture of this. It compares it to a deer that needs water. This deer will do anything to get to water because it will die without it. I wonder in my life if I am like that deer. Will I give anything to be close to God? Will I give anything to know Him? Are will searching and seeking God like we should?
