And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:39
We must be willing to ultimately leave everything up to God! You see Jesus knew all the pain and shame that he would go through on the cross and is asking God right here if he can allow him to avoid this death. However, Jesus also says that he will do whatever God wants! I need to have this same attitude! I should be willing to do whatever God ask of me. I should want to do His will and not my own.
