“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed.” – Hudson Taylor
I had a great time last week studying the life of Hudson Taylor! There are many things to be learned from this man, and I was greatly challenged by Hudson’s heart for the lost. After his salvation, we see that Hudson’s life was dedicated to reaching lost souls for Jesus. He went down to the slums of his hometown in England and shared the Gospel. His call to China was simple an overflow of his heart for the lost. I hope that I can have the same passion and heart as Hudson Taylor. There are people who are dying and going to Hell and I need to do much as possible to share the Gospel with them. I want to use my life to take the Gospel to the world! Here are a couple of things that have happened over the last week:
I am at 85% support for my internship! I greatly appreciate how generous many of you have been! I don’t deserve it, and I am thankful for supporters like you.
I had the opportunity to preach at church last Wednesday. I will be preaching at another church tomorrow and you can pray for that as well.
You could pray for me as I finish up my schooling, finish raising support, and hand over my responsibilities at church to others.
I appreciate everyone of you who pray for me and I can’t wait to see what God is going to do during my time in Peru! If you would like more information about my trip to Peru you can go to www.kasonbloom.com
