And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:4
What makes me get up everyday? What am I living for? What drives and motivates me? Is it to have fun? Is it so that I can have adventure? Is it so that I can make money? Or, is it because I want to get up and live for Jesus? Do I make the commands of the Bible my highest priority? Is Christ really my life? This verse clearly says that Word of God should be a driving factor in my life. It should be so important that we cannot live without it. This means that I need to be in the Word daily. I need to be looking to the Bible for every question in my life. It really should be my life!
